Along with Crofton Park Community Library and Crofton Park Railway Garden we will be celebrating Earth Day and Plant and Share month on Saturday 23rd April 2022.
Activities kick off at Crofton Park Community Library at 11am. Children are invited to the library to make pinwheels and bird feeders. Bring lunch!
Then you will head to meet us at the Railway Garden from 1pm for some growing fun, thanks to support by Food for Life. We are running two mini food growing sessions – food for us and food for our wildlife:
1pm to 1.30pm – Grow your own micro-greens. Learn how to grow these delicious and nutritious goodies.
1.30pm to 2.15pm – Growing flowers for pollinators. Help us make the Railway Garden even more wildlife friendly. You will learn about different flowers and which are best for pollinators. Help us sow some seeds in the garden or sow some in pots to take home.
