Our team is led by Stephen Kenny, a Creative Director by background working in media and book publishing. In 2009 Stephen set up The Baring Trust to protect and raise awareness of the neighbourhood’s heritage assets which were under threat of being lost.

As part of this work, he established an outdoor education programme for local schools based at the Ringway Community Centre, which included adventure reading in the outdoors, centred on the stories of E. Nesbit who has a cultural connection to the neighbourhood.

Stephen leads the Wild Rangers programme and nature conservation efforts to protect the wildlife railway corridor and sites of nature conservation importance in the area. Stephen is Level Three Forest School trained. As part of the conservation work, Stephen has created number of partnerships with organisations who support the wider conservation work, including London Wildlife Trust, The Butterfly Conservation Trust, National Trust, ZSL, UCL and the Science Museum.
