Author Nan Eshelby joined us to read from her book ‘Puddock’s Pond’. Later we explored the wildlife in the pond.



This spring, we took part in Plant and Share month, getting together to sow, grow, share plants, and learn about healthy food, thanks to support from Food for Life Get Togethers. We learnt about propagating herbs, different types of tomatoes, tried edible flowers, and grew our own micro-greens. It was yum!

Mini beasts are all around us, but we rarely stop to really look at their beauty! Today we explored the wonderful world of minibeats and the intricate detail of their design and form, and the amazing work they do for us each day to keep our world healthy.
A macro photography exhibition of mini beasts found in our local woodland was up at the Eco Lab, and children also got to explore the mini beasts of the pond through microscopes.
